1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EduQuest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Service

EduQuest is a collection of games for young children, used under a parent's account. The first game teaches reading. The Service includes a web application, game content, and parent dashboard.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Parent accounts must be created by individuals aged 18 or older. Child profiles are managed entirely by the parent account holder.

4. Free and Paid Content

EduQuest currently offers The Misty Isle as a free tier. Additional worlds are in development; their release model (one-time purchase, donation-supported, or other) will be announced before any paid content launches, and prices will be displayed before any purchase. Donations, where supported, are voluntary and non-refundable unless required otherwise by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the game
• Use automated tools to access the Service

6. Intellectual Property

All content in EduQuest — including game assets, text, audio, and code — is owned by EduQuest or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.

7. Limitation of Liability

EduQuest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
